Founder of Millennium Dental Technologies, Inc. Urges Organized Dentistry to Put Patients First

Cerritos, Calif. (January 5, 2017) -- Dr. Robert H. Gregg II, DDS, called upon members of the dental profession, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology and dental insurers, to put patients first by providing them with the knowledge and affordability of treatments that best suit their needs.

Cerritos, Calif. (January 5, 2017) — Dr. Robert H. Gregg II, DDS, called upon members of the dental profession, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology and dental insurers, to put patients first by providing them with the knowledge and affordability of treatments that best suit their needs. “All patients deserve accurate information on available treatment options, and the ability to make informed decisions about their dental health,” said Dr. Gregg, founder of Millennium Dental Technologies, Inc. “At the same time, dentists have an ethical and legal obligation to inform patients of treatment options that can be considered appropriate for their care.”

Published in The Orange County Register, Dr. Gregg’s statement references the 25-year history of laser dentistry being used as an alternative to more invasive procedures, as well as a recent clearance from the Food and Drug Administration acknowledging that the LANAP protocol is capable of True Regeneration – re-growing bone and soft tissues lost to gum disease. With less pain, easier recovery and comparable results to traditional methods, LANAP laser gum disease treatment is preferred by patients over cutting and sewing. “As a profession, we owe it to the health of tens of millions of Americans to do better,” said Dr. Gregg.
