The PerioLase MVP-7 is a 6-watt free-running variable pulsed Nd:YAG dental laser featuring digital technology and 7 pulse durations — the most available on the market — to treat gum disease and regenerate the bone and tissues destroyed by periodontitis. With unique features and powerful software algorithms, the PerioLase MVP-7 features all the capabilities you need to safely, efficiently and effectively perform the LANAP® and LAPIP™ protocols, as well as a wide range of other soft tissue and hard tissue laser Valued-Added Procedures (VAPS). periolase MVP-7 unique features that makes it the best laser for treating periodontal disease

Proven Technology by Clinicians for Clinicians™

Exclusive Multi-Variable Pulse™

The PerioLase MVP-7 was the first digitally pulsed dental laser and features 7 user-selectable digital pulse durations (pulse widths) from which to choose – 100, 150, 250, 350, 450, 550 and 650 μsec – for the optimum performance in treating a wide range of tissue phenotypes.

The short pulse durations are ideal for ablating soft or fibrous tissues, while longer pulse durations are best for titrating hemostais to control moderate-to-heavy bleeding. Pulse duration flexibility allows for the optimized performance of LANAP and LAPIP treatment, creating a clean, closed, stable fibrin clot, allowing healing to begin.

Integrated Power Meter for Safety & Efficacy

A built-in power meter enables the clinician to confirm the power output. The power meter ensures optimum power delivery to maximize patient safety and efficacy.

A Free-Running Laser with TruePulse™

Unlike continuous-wave or interrupted/gated pulsed diode lasers, the PerioLase MVP-7 is a true free-running pulsed Nd:YAG laser. It emits true digital square pulses of high peak power with durations in the millionths of a second, allowing the tissue to thermally relax between pulses. TruePulse technology delivers 20% greater efficiency of digital over analog pulse and control of the laser beam for patient safety and efficacy.

Meticulously Tested for True Flexibility

Every aspect of the PerioLase MVP-7 has been field tested by the founder in his dental practice. The lightweight, flexible FiberFlex fibers coupled with the ergonomically designed TrueFlex hand piece combine to present a delivery system unlike any other.

The combination is lightweight and balanced, yet infused with the flexibility needed to access anterior pockets to help reduce clinician fatigue.

Why Dentists Prefer the PerioLase MVP-7

The results are astounding and the ROI is greater than I expected. My advice is… Don’t wait!

The PerioLase MVP-7 is used on medically compromised patients with periodontitis at our hospital-based surgery rotations. The PerioLase affords us the opportunity to manage these complex patients in a predictable manner with minimal postoperative sequellae.

Laser therapy demonstrates the human body’s wonderful ability to heal itself. LANAP protocol with the PerioLase MVP-7 gives me the chance to make this happen for my patients.

This is one of the few dental instruments that has paid for itself over and over. It is a great tool and patient acceptance is high.

Periodontal surgery no longer has to leave patients with longer, sensitive, unaesthetic teeth that are more prone to decay. Bone can be regenerated without membranes and bone grafts. Patients no longer need to fear and procrastinate and delay restorative options.

The PerioLase MVP-7/LANAP protocol has changed the way that I look at and treat periodontal disease. It allows me to tailor my treatment to fit the patient, and not try to have the patient fit the treatment. It is a much less traumatic protocol than traditional therapies, and has produced results that I, and more importantly, my patients and referrals, would not have previously believed possible.
