Over 100 value-added procedures (VAPS™) with the PerioLase® MVP-7™

From restorative to regeneration, aphthous ulcers to vaporization, the key to optimal outcomes is selecting the right laser for the procedure. While LANAP® and LAPIP™ are cornerstone protocols on the incredibly versatile PerioLase® MVP-7™, there are also dozens of value-added procedures (VAPS) available to benefit your practice and patients.

LARiP™ (Laser-Assisted Ridge Preservation)

Optimize ridge preservation by decontaminating extraction sites and initiating formation of a fibrin clot prior to adding grafting material to mitigate bone loss.

Decontamination

Decontaminate pockets before implant placement to prevent failures by immediately suppressing red and orange complex periodontal pathogens below culture detection limits.

Hemostasis

Achieve hemostasis even when patients are medically compromised including on anti-coagulants. Different from cauterization, the blood vessels are not damaged.

Nerve paresthesia/TMD

Treat patients with nerve paresthesia or damage, TMD/TMJ or jaw pain with biostimulation. Address sore tissue areas and swollen gums or conduct general post-op pain management.

Hemangioma

Provide suture-free treatment of hemangioma without bleeding. Treat in just seconds and maintain esthetics with minimal tissue damage.

Fibroma

Remove fibrous, connective tissue while accelerating healing.

Depigmentation

Lighten or remove black spots on gingiva tissue due to genetic factors such as melanotic macules.

Class 2 fracture enamel

Address cases that involve fractures and dentin exposure, as well as require the removal of debris.

Pyogenic granuloma

Treat non-neoplastic tumor-like lesions caused by overreaction of connective tissue to minor irritation or trauma such as poor oral hygiene, dental calculus, infection or hormonal changes.
