About Millennium Dental Technologies, Inc.

Headquartered in Cerritos, California, Millennium Dental Technologies, Inc. (MDT) was founded by Robert H. Gregg II, DDS in 1994. Dr. Gregg was fascinated by the possibilities of lasers in dentistry to provide a better experience for patients, as well as the possibility of a minimally-invasive treatment for periodontal disease that patients would accept.

It’s all about the patient!

Throughout many years and the performance of thousands of procedures, pioneering laser clinicians gained an extraordinary understanding of laser-tissue interaction. Dr. Gregg visualized the potential of the Free-Running Pulsed Nd:YAG laser for use in periodontal therapy and developed a minimally-invasive “recipe” that would replace the conventional scalpel and suture flap surgery that they knew patients dreaded. That vision, along with years of clinical use and copious research studies, resulted in the development of the PerioLase® MVP-7™ and the LANAP® Protocol for the treatment of periodontal disease and promoting new periodontal connective tissue attachment.

The PerioLase® MVP-7™ also enables the treatment of peri-implantitis and peri-implant mucositis with the LAPIP™ Protocol. The PerioLase® MVP-7™ for the LANAP® and LAPIP™ Protocols is the most significant achievement in soft-tissue dental lasers since the inception of lasers. The FDA-cleared LANAP® Protocol is the first patented periodontal protocol. Millennium Dental Technologies, still going strong with Dr. Gregg at the helm, continues to operate with the mission to create better clinical outcomes in patients with periodontal disease – and to remain true to the guiding principle: “It’s all about the patient.”
